SIGS was one of the 10 grantees of the BE.Innovative contest organized by the PREVENT Waste Alliance, an initiative of the German Federal Government targeted to help members leverage insights from behavioural science and design thinking to design more effective approaches to waste prevention and circular economy. The SIGS project focused on designing a behaviour change intervention to reduce the use of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles in restaurants/cafes in the Maldives.
